The aim of this tour is being able to improve the profitability and production of your enterprise and competitiveness of the overall Australian goat industry.
A successful tour of leading South African goat industry breeders will hopefully improve your knowledge of management practices for you to implement and use to improve your business.
Each day there’s something different. We have tried to cover all facets of the challenges faced when operating a commercial goat farm – from herd management and breeding, rebranding and selling of a product and looking at the performance of your farm from a business perspective.
The tour departs Melbourne (to Perth) on Friday, 26 April 2019 arriving in Cape Town (via Johannesburg) on Saturday 27th April. We will return to Australia on 8 May 2019 (Melbourne via Perth).
Attached is a detailed itinerary, including cost. Flights, accommodation and most meals are covered in this fee. The total cost will be dependent on the number of attendees on the trip.
You will need to make your own way to Melbourne to catch the Perth flight. Any WA attendees will be making their way directly to Perth airport, and we’ll have to talk to Swagman Tours about a different price for those meeting us in Perth.
